COVID-19 Updates

05/03/2022

Comprenew is relaxing its mask policy. While in a Comprenew facility, any staff member or member of the public may wear a mask if they choose. Staff must be vaccinated if they have a job that involves interaction with customers. As always, the safety of our customers and staff are our highest priority.

The safety of our customers and staff are our highest priority. All Comprenew staff who work with members of the public are required to be fully vaccinated. That includes all staff at every Comprenew store location.

All Comprenew locations are now accepting electronics recycling, preferably by appointment to limit the number of customers in our facility at a time. We are also happy to pick-up from your porch or garage for a low rate, depending on the distance. Please call 833-COMPRENEW to schedule. Thank you!

Dear Comprenew Customer,

If you have worked with Comprenew for a while you know that we are committed to protecting you, your organization, and the public. I am communicating with you now to pass along specific details about Comprenew’s capability and our response to the COVID-19 virus.• Staff preparedness and training

All Comprenew staff are practicing social distancing, washing their hands often, and avoiding physical contact. Gloves and masks are mandatory for a number of functions.

• Hours of Operation
Comprenew is planning to keep all facilities open and operating without modifying hours as long as we are able to do so. This will change if a significant amount of the Comprenew team becomes homebound, and if this were to happen we will give you as much notice ahead of time as possible.

• Corporate Pickup Capability for all ITAD (I.T. Asset Security & Disposition) services
Pickups of all in-bound equipment will continue as scheduled and unless postponed by the customer. Our reusable containers and totes are being sanitized before delivery to the customer and before entering our processing facility.

• Comprenew customer drop-offs
All Comprenew electronic equipment and material drop-off capabilities remain open for customers.

• Comprenew Stores
All Comprenew stores are open and the availability of refurbished and warrantied equipment remains strong at this time. Extra cleaning personnel have been dispatched to all stores and inventory is being sanitized thoroughly before each sale. Upon request, we may provide no-contact at-cost delivery of product purchased from a Comprenew store, or shopcomprenew.org, using Comprenew delivery personnel.

• Comprenew Municipal collection events
At this point, Comprenew has an active municipality collection event schedule planned through the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2020. Comprenew will notify you in the event that any of these are canceled.

• Volunteer program has been suspended
For the health and safety of vulnerable staff members and our community, we have canceled our volunteer program through the end of April and will reassess at that time.

Thank you for being a vital part of the Comprenew family. Whether you are a customer of our ITAD and recycling services, a customer of a Comprenew store, or contribute in some other way, we appreciate you and the decisions you have made to protect your company and community’s data, environment, and health.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at 833-COMPRENEW (833-266-7736) if you have questions or suggestions for our team.

Together with you,
Scott Vander Kooy
President
