WHY?

Electronic waste is harmful to our environment. When put in landfills, e-Waste can leak harmful toxins into our soil and water. You and your organization can help make a difference!

WHO?

Comprenew® is a Grand Rapids-based nonprofit electronics recycler registered with the State of Michigan as an approved responsible electronics recycler and certified R2:2008 for Responsible Recycling. Comprenew’s mission is to inspire our community to live and work in a sustainable manner. We are offering you a convenient way to do your part by recycling your electronics at community “e-Drop” events throughout Michigan. We offer both weekday event management as well as Saturday events. Most any item with a cord or battery will be accepted at no charge and Comprenew will wipe or destroy all computer hard drives. A partial list of our Acceptable Items follows:

• computers, new and used, working and non-working
• computer parts and accessories
• printers/scanners/fax machines
• cell phones/PDAs/iPods/MP3 players
• VCRs/DVD players
• radios/stereos/CD players
• microwaves
• miscellaneous electronics
• televisions

*Electronics recycling is provided free to the residential community but your financial support is always welcome and appreciated. Please consider DONATING today at our home page here - scroll down to the DONATE HERE button and THANK YOU!

Please note that Comprenew cannot accept refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, or large appliances.
