Supporting Our Leaders with Hispanic Center of Western Michigan

Comprenew's partnership with the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan continues in 2010 with the Supporting Our Leaders Program. Forty young people are working here at Comprenew four days a week and learning about sustainability and recycling. We truly appreciate their hard work and the support of the Hispanic Center team to make this happen here. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
The Supporting Our Leaders program has many opportunities for community involvement. The mission of the program is to assist Hispanic youth and their families to live healthy, productive lives. This is achieved by focusing on college and career preparation, civic engagement, academic support, workforce development, cultural empowerment and leadership opportunities. This program also has a strong parental engagement component designed to strengthen families.
