Before Black Friday kicks off and people trade in their gratitude for ruthless deal-hunting, we’d like to spend a few minutes reflecting and being thankful for what we already have. I asked a handful of people at Comprenew to share what they’re thankful for this Thanksgiving, and here’s what they had to say:
“I am thankful for all of our customer and local businesses who are environmentally conscious. It is awesome when people ask question about recycling electronics. They are excited to see all the items we recycle and that it is going to support local programs for both youth and adults,” said Demelza.
“I’m extremely thankful to be working for an organization that cares and gives so much back to the community by helping others restart their lives,” said Kristen.
“I have the unique opportunity to work hand and hand with all the volunteers, teaching them about our mission statement and how much there positive actions, help strengthen the environment and our community, I am very thankful to be a small part in such a wonderful company that both educates and uplifts so many,” said Mark.
“I’m thankful to work for an organization with a local community mission that positively effects our environment on a global scale. I’m also thankful that the work I do every day is positive and rewarding,” said Kyle.
“I’m thankful for all our community partners,” said Jerry.
“I’m thankful for a positive place to work and their care and concern for the environment,” said Lynn.
“I am thankful for the many individuals who have shared their lives with Comprenew for a time in serving through our community programs. Each has a beautiful, unique life story and we, the regular staff at Comprenew, are blessed each time we have the opportunity to know these individuals better. I am thankful for Comprenew’s commitment to the well-being of our beautiful state by both serving so many rural areas where recycling opportunities can be harder to come by and via its involvement in influencing legislation in the state to better protect our natural resources,” said Karen.
“I am thankful that companies like Comprenew exist to help keep electronics from ending up in the landfill where they can pollute the environment,” said Steven.
“I’m thankful for all the volunteers and agencies that partner with us to bring such hard-working individuals to our workplace every week,” Gail.
What are you thankful for this year?
